Our Fragile World : The Beauty Of A Planet Under Pressure

Author(s): Troth Wells & Caspar Henderson

General

Global warming means that our coastlines change and areas of the world disappear; it means that habitats vanish, ecosystems are unbalanced, climate zones shift, and that animal and plant life disappear. The photographs in this book illustrate the wealth that is at stake. Unforgettable images reveal the unexpected, exhilarating beauty of the world's carefully balanced ecosystems, and the people whose traditional way of life is in tune with nature.
