Author description

Edward Dolnick, a former chief science writer at the Boston Globe, has written for the Atlantic Monthly, the New York Times Magazine and more. His interest in art thieves was triggered by the 1990 Gardner Museum robbery. He has two grown sons and lives with his wife near Washington, DC.
