Product Information

Margaret Wild is an internationally renowned children's author whose books have been translated into several languages. Her writing deals with a wide range of themes, but most notably issues of identity, trust and death. She's won several awards, including the CBCA Picture Book of the Year Award. Originally from South Africa, she has been living in Australia since 1972. Ann James, a former art teacher, is now a highly acclaimed illustrator of children's books. The most recent books she has illustrated with Little Hare are Lucy Goosey (shortlisted for the 2007 Early Childhood Picture Book of the Year, CBCA) and the Audrey series. Based in Melbourne, Ann James also runs Books Illustrated.
