Melanie Roberts, MS, is the Director of Educational Services and the Fitness Center at The National Institute for Fitness and Sport (NIFS) in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Saint Joseph's College and a Master's Degree in Exercise Science from Indiana State University. She holds certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She has been honored by USA Triathlon as a highly competitive duathlete and still has scars from her Never Say Quit Adventure Racing sagas. While at NIFS, Melanie has contributed to several research projects. Collaborations with colleagues at Indiana University and the Indianapolis Fire Department have led to publications involving topics covering exercise motivation, fitness levels of firefighters, exercise-induced asthma, osteoarthritis, menopause, prostate cancer, and fibromyalgia.

Stephanie Kaiser, MS, is the lifestyle program coordinator, NIFS Mini-Marathon program co-coordinator, and a health fitness specialist at the National Institute for Fitness and Sport (NIFS). Stephanie works with individuals of all ages and abilities, and her specialties include working with runners participating in the NIFS Mini-Marathon Training Program and the Go-Girl Triathalon Training Program. As lifestyle program coordinator, she helps individuals with various health conditions improve their overall health and reach their fitness goals. She earned her Master's degree in kinesiology from IUPUI and is a certified health fitness specialist with the American College of Sports Medicine.
