Dear World shares the incredible stories of the power of individual change from unsung heroes to world-renowned activists, featured alongside the illustrations and messages of hope and concern from children all over the globe. From animal welfare to education and marine biology, from Antarctica to Vietnam, we have a story for every interest, and age group! Our youngest contributor is 9-year old Sebastian who sells T-shirts made of recycled fibres which he designs himself, and plants a fruit tree for every T-shirt sold! On the other hand, we have veteran activists like Prof Dennis Dalton who, as a high school student, was inspired by Rosa Parks' refusal to give up her bus seat in Montgomery (USA), and devoted his life to teaching about non-violent civil disobedience.
