French architect and designer Charlotte Perriand not only created buildings such as the League of Nations in Geneva and ski resorts but was responsible for iconic furniture pieces in tubular steel, such as the Nuage bookshelf, Grand Confort chair (while working for Le Corbusier), B301 recliner and the ponyskin Chaise Longue.
