Dave Hackett is the kind of guy who likes to draw sumo-wrestling grannies and guitar-wielding punk snails. His cartoons can be seen in newspapers, magazines, books, on posters, T-shirts and the sides of vans and garbage trucks throughout the nation. Dave is the author of five cartooning books, Cartoon Your Head Off, Cartoon Your Big Slimy Brains Out, Cartoon Dave's No-Rules Cartooning, Fab Face Freak-Out and MAD Cartooning. His cartooning has also led him to appear as Cartoon Dave on Disney Channel, with his popular cartooning segment, The Big Doodle and a craft segment, Get Crafty, as well as regular scribblings in Disney Adventures Magazine. Recently, Dave branched into literature with his debut novel, UFO; Unavoidable Family Outing, which he followed with UFO in the USA and UFO Afloat. Dave, his wife, children and their small hairy dog have recently moved from the Blue Mountains of New South Wales to Eumundi, Queensland.
