While we think of the world as spherical, our main directions within it remain 'Down', 'Across' and 'Up'. These are the divisions of this book of poems. The book still travels - Australia, India and Europe -- and does it around evident poles of orientation and disorientation. Graeme Miles is based at the University of Tasmania.
